And particularly so when the administrator of the app both appears to be watching and is going out of his way to taunt any users who might attempt to offer up something of value.

Do we think he's the administrator? Or just more middle-management? I honestly can't tell.

Yes, exactly!

He seems to hold himself out as some sort of authority, at least; that's the impression I took, anyway. Perhaps in the grand scheme of things it really doesn't matter, though. The point is more that he comes with the company brand attached, and therefore in some capacity he's a representative of the greater whole. It gives his words weight.

That's true. Although many people seem to be treating him like a joke, it's probably nearer a defense mechanism...

I do wish we knew more about these people. But that's probably done on purpose, right? Not giving the company much of a face or a name.
