[ and you can hit up her log toplevel here if you want, or we can do it in here, or i can write you a special starter or we can handwave...w/e works best! ]
Maybe there will be more waiting than previously anticipated since being tiny—or tinier—means it takes take a lot longer to get places, and Chiyo still can't gauge how long it will take her to go anywhere because... well, sometimes you have to run away from bugs and animals or a stray shadow you think could be something that will drop and crush you.
But she tries her very best to get to their meeting place as promptly as possible, makeshift knapsack slung over of her shoulder. ]
Levy...! Thanks for still meeting me even though we're like this!
It was fine! It wasn't that bad at all. I just had to communicate that I didn't want a cake crumb with an ant. [ By communicate, she means running away. ] It's going from one adventure to another! Or something like that?
[ Chiyo's expression freezes for a second and then she laughs sheepishly. She shakes her head. ]
I learned when not to get in an ant's way? Ha... ha... I ran away. Sorry, that's what I meant. Life would be a lot easier if I could speak ant, though. If I could speak to any bug.
Right! You make a character based on the sort of person you want to play...so, lets start it very simple! With just basic classes. Mage, Healer, Warrior, and Thief...those should be good. Do you want explanations, or does one sound better to you than the others?
Is there anything special about D&D that makes the classes different than what shows up in books or movies or TV? [ Or was D&D old enough to set the standard? This is history Chiyo has no clue about. ] But, um, healer sounds good to me! I think it'd suit me more? Maybe?
[ She's not that great at being one the offense. ]

[ That would be a useful ability. ]

...But, anyway! What all do you know about D&D?

[ It's a serious consideration! ]
Um! That you have to roll dice a lot and there are stats and it's a lot of fantasy characters?

[ Or as pretty? But Chiyo imagines that shouldn't be as high of a priority when making a character (but she's thinking about it). ]
