It was fine! It wasn't that bad at all. I just had to communicate that I didn't want a cake crumb with an ant. [ By communicate, she means running away. ] It's going from one adventure to another! Or something like that?

[ Her laugh is a little sheepish. ]

[ look. they are tiny. THIS COULD BE WHAT CHIYO MEANS? ]

[ Chiyo's expression freezes for a second and then she laughs sheepishly. She shakes her head. ]

I learned when not to get in an ant's way? Ha... ha... I ran away. Sorry, that's what I meant. Life would be a lot easier if I could speak ant, though. If I could speak to any bug.

[ That would be a useful ability. ]

If people are spontaneously getting abilities, it's the one I'd want right now...

...But, anyway! What all do you know about D&D?

[admiringly]

It'd make us all safer right now for sure.

[ It's a serious consideration! ]

Um! That you have to roll dice a lot and there are stats and it's a lot of fantasy characters?

Right! You make a character based on the sort of person you want to play...so, lets start it very simple! With just basic classes. Mage, Healer, Warrior, and Thief...those should be good. Do you want explanations, or does one sound better to you than the others?

[admiringly]

Is there anything special about D&D that makes the classes different than what shows up in books or movies or TV? [ Or was D&D old enough to set the standard? This is history Chiyo has no clue about. ] But, um, healer sounds good to me! I think it'd suit me more? Maybe?

[ She's not that great at being one the offense. ]

Healer is good! Do you want to be a human or an elf or a dwarf??

Ooh... hmm... an elf! Are D&D elves as nimble as they are in the movies?

[ Or as pretty? But Chiyo imagines that shouldn't be as high of a priority when making a character (but she's thinking about it). ]
